DJ Xavier was so good! Every call leading up to the wedding you could tell he’s so fun and so good at what he does. He got a good feel for our vibe and we sent him playlists but he also did a great job reading the room. We got our wedding pictures back and our dance floor was packed in every photo which is exactly what I wanted. Our guests and my husband and I all had a great time. The company as a whole is reliable and really easy to work with. My brother in law and his wife used a different DJ but same company for their wedding so I’m so glad we took their recommendation from them and happy to give my recommendation as well!

DJ Chris Stankay from Modern Era was one to the best DJs we have ever heard! He was the perfect Emcee to the point where we felt like guests at our own wedding, not having to worry about the flow of our reception. Chris listened to all of our requests and favorite music genres from our music portal and crafted the best blend of everything we loved, while keeping everyone dancing until the end of the night. As the photographers for Emily and Matthew’s wedding, we loved working alongside Modern Era Weddings. Their DJ kept the energy high and the timeline running smoothly from start to finish. The transitions were seamless, the music was perfectly curated for every part of the day, and the dance floor stayed full all night long. DJ Mike was absolutely amazing and we highly recommend him!!! My husband and I met on the dancefloor at an EDM festival so we wanted to re-create that as much as possible and Mike seamlessly created not only a EDM party rager but also in a way that was tasteful for a wedding and family friendly. Not only did Mike add in extras to add to our wedding esthetic, he also got one of our favorite DJ's to do a shoutout for congratulating our marriage, and also mixed in our vows to one of the songs he played - all of this blew our minds. I was seriously on the dance floor from the moment it opened till our reception ended because Mike is such an amazing DJ - he knew exactly what songs to play at the right times. Not only was Mike amazing at his DJing skills but also kept us on track for our timeline. The rest of his team, such as Monica with the Photobooth did an amazing job as well! DJ Dan was absolutely AMAZING! He kept the energy up all night, read the crowd perfectly, and had everyone dancing from start to finish. He was professional, easy to work with, and really helped make our wedding day unforgettable. I couldn’t recommend him more—if you want a DJ who will bring the party and make your day truly special, he’s the one!

We booked DJ Mike for our wedding and are so glad we did! He was very easy to talk to and responsive by phone and email. Modern Era made it easy to create a vision that we wanted through their portal for cocktail hour, dinner, reception, etc. We also had a few calls leading up to the wedding to go over what we wanted and the music we liked. Mike was able to capture and execute our vision perfectly! Everyone was on the dance floor which is exactly what we wanted! We are still getting comments on how good the music was. Highly recommend!

DJ Jason Nesbit (cloud!) not only nailed the ceremony music, but he also KEPT THE DANCE FLOOR PACKED ALL NIGHT It was unbelievable! The day after I received MULTIPLE texts from family and friends asking about the DJ. We had a zoom call prior to the wedding and he asked what I liked, and I gave him a few songs and ideas and he RAN with it. Run don’t walk to book Jason as your DJ - he totally killed it and I was very very impressed. Also get the up lights and cold sparks :) really adds to the experience.

Couldn’t have imagined our day without Mike and modern era weddings! They brought all the fun and were extremely professional. They knew the vibe we wanted and were able to create a dance floor that had both Hispanics and Americans on the dance floor the whole night!! Mike was amazing to work with. He knew exactly how to throw a party, he was a perfect MC, and he had a setup that made our night FUN. If I could give DJ Greg (Doc B) 100 star review, I absolutely would. He did an amazing job of setting the tone, keeping the energy up, and making sure everyone was having a blast! He truly has a gift for reading the room and keeping the dance floor full! So many of our guests even commented on how great the music was and how much fun they had dancing the night away! If you’re trying to decide on a DJ for your next event, I promise you will not be disappointed in Modern Era, specifically Greg and his sidekick Colby!
